paying salary before 5th april but receiving it after 5th

    Hi,

Due to a bank cock up, i paid myself a salary on the 3rd, but didnt get it till after the 5th. Does this still qualify for the
previous tax year, and if not, will the bank be liable for losses in tax allowances?

    thanks

    Hi,

I presume you are talking about April 2015?

With regards to the salary this will be recorded based on the RTI submissions, therefore if you ran the salary to be paid on 3rd April 2015 then this is will be included in your 2014/15 salary.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards,
