    Boomers laughing their tits off

People aged 65 to 79 'happiest of all', study suggests - BBC News

65 to 79 is the happiest age group for adults, according to Office for National Statistics research.

The survey of more than 300,000 adults across the UK found life satisfaction, happiness and feeling life was worthwhile all peaked in that age bracket, but declined in the over-80s.

Those aged 45 to 59 reported the lowest levels of life satisfaction, with men on average less satisfied than women.

"I wonder if the tenants have all paid their rent this month on our propery portfolio dear, back in rainy old England?"

No, our feral children impregnated the neighbours and torched their Astras, we dirty protested the bedrooms, other than the skunk farm, we trashed the place, the roof is gone, the boiler exploded and we skipped owing 6 months rent.

    Suck it up you parasites.

"This is because Saga had sold them a standard home insurance policy rather than specialist landlord cover, and it did not offer protection against damage by tenants. "

Or more like they did not for a more expensive, but appropriate policy.

        What is happiness?

If it's greed, the survey sounds about right.

What is unhappiness? If it's jealousy then you're probably right.

            Happiness is:

            Kids grown and self supporting(ish)
            No Mortgage
            Appreciating property(s)
Not divorced (cooks / housekeeper / cleaners / laundry maids are so expensive)
            Still breathing
            Shed loads of spare cash
6 weeks holiday abroad each year
Choosing prestige cars ... because you can (but still have 20 year old 4x4 as an experiment to see what max miles it will actually do )

Not the baby boomer generation but life is good

            50 is the new 65

                  No, that's the wrong word.

I would describe it as resentful.
