If that goes ahead it will be interesting to see how many climb downs there will be.

Apparently the Telegraph sub editors can't tell the difference between a year and a century.
My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.

It's been decided to let nature takes it's course there and not spend any more on sea defences

Natura errosion will make house prices dive there without any global warming scare stories

I'm suprised anyone can find anyone guillable to buy there now
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Will they decide the same for London?
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

Residents of Fairbourne, in Gwynedd, say predictions of that the sea level will rise by a metre a year have hit house prices and investment

Its Wales. So house prices and investment were stuffed anyway.

I think the accelerated loss of ice sheets in the Antarctic is making these predictions difficult all around. I say we do nothing - surely evacuating London in the next fifty years will be cheaper than 25-metre high sea walls?

Agreed... except for the evacuating bit
