A bluff then, just like all those companies banging on that they will leave the UK if there's a Brexit!

Let's just hope when HK and Shanghai pop - we don't have any of that TBTF tulip.

The bank has had its headquarters in the UK since 1993 but makes most of its money overseas, and Asia accounts for the majority of its profit.

So if it goes wrong then the UK is on the hook.

Project Fear is having another blip, guess they need to reboot the Matrix
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Would this be like Google's headquarters in Luxembourg which is a solicitor's office staffed by one man and the cleaner
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

There's no doubt that HQ's won't move, just the jobs

'Brexit' would lead to loss of 100,000 bank jobs, says City | London | News | London Evening Standard

Most of the UK is sick of banks moaning how they cannot be allowed to fail and continually need money to prop them up. And how there needs to be a continual supply of immigrants to provide services like cleaners and nannies. Which the vast majority of the UK do not benefit from.

Working at a bank then *if* the report was true it would not be good for me personally. But then I get used to bankers continually lying.

The city has the critical mass. That will be chipped away at - for example CS setting up a trading floor in Dublin. One day critical mass will no longer exist - then the city will be stuffed. Brexit will have no impact upon that.

Its an important job. The woman(sexist assumption its a man) sends the money to Cayman islands. The cleaner checks if profits are below zero. If they are he calls the BoE.
