Just had an agent on the phone querying if I was a permie as MyCo's branding didn't look like the normal contractor fair, I paid £75 for a logo, knocked up a wordpress website and culture a Facebook page, not what I would call high end but seems enough to make me stand out a little bit.

I have also done this and whenever the agent has queried me, I have said I care as much for my companies image and professionalism as my own work. My company is employed by the client.
To be honest, the logo was knocked up for free by a friend but it does look nice. Plus its something to put on the business card rather than the free logo generator.Last edited by ContractorHardman; 18 February 2016, 10:43.Comment

Are you one of those people that use "we" a lot on a fancy looking web site to make it look as if you're a large consultancy with an army of highly trained professionals whereas in reality you're just one bloke who knows how to change the hard drive on a Windows PC?
I hate those.Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment
