    Rights at Work Questions

    a suggestion for one question

    Dear Sirs,

I'm a freelance IT consultant and recently my employers upon finding out I was pregnant decided to terminate my contract. I admit that I had kept the pregnancy from them when interviewing for the contract position however as a lady who is
    a)pregnant against all best advice
    and
    b) Severely in debt
I think that I should be able to sue them for millions on the grounds of unfair dismissal.
What is the best course of action for me to follow?

    Thanks

    SB

Being employed to do a job is not the same as being a permie. For example, I employ a freelance plumber to fix my pipes.

I thought signing off teh question "Sayara Beg" would so obvious as to be insulting. Live and learn I guess.
