Just wondering what folks preferred country would be to emigrate to and utilise their IT skills in return for payment?

Was thinking Aus or NZ but seems they are OK for IT workers at present.

I know a few people in IT that have emigrated, two went to NZ and one went to Aus, they are absolutely loving it, they will never set foot here in the UK again.

The public sector pay good money for IT, the houses outside the usual hotspot city centres are vast, and the climate is superb.

When are you off? Could we crowd fund your one way ticket if you promise not to post on CUK again?

Got a brother working in Perth for mining company, IT network side of things, and he is doing very well out of it although him and colleagues feel job security is not what it was a few years back.

Like I say, had a brief look at them countries but we appear to have saturated that particular market
