An Oxford University educated professor has been working as a porn star in adult films as a way to 'relieve the stress of a divorce', it has emerged.

Nicholas Goddard has taught chemical engineering at the University of Manchester for almost 25 years.

But for the last decade he has also been starring as ‘Old Nick’ in dozens of adult films, The Sun has reported.

Prof Goddard has published many scientific papers over his 35-year career and is the lead tutor on three courses.
