At last the UK leads the world in something!

British mums sent home sooner after birth than any other developed country - Telegraph

Mrs BP hated being in hospital after giving birth. Way too many screaming babies. They should make maternity wards more like John Lewis really.

When she did fall asleep she was prodded by a nurse for minor checks.

When her consultant came along she said she wanted to go home. Consultant checked her and said fine. Nurse said "sister has not approved". Consultant "I am in charge".....

That's presumably because many more of them have school the next day than in any other developed country.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

It could be because our standards of pre-natal care and midwifery are so high that they are able to go home early.

BS in some countries such as The Netherlands most babies are born at home. So no stay in hospital at all

So that would mean they never went to hospital to be sent home, therefore NOT counted.
