NATO was founded for ages before the EU was formed. Turkey not belong to the EU ( and hopefully stay out ) and is a founder member of NATO.Comment

No biggie. Obama is just being honest. It may well be convenient for him, and for the USA, to have the UK stay part of the EU. Brexit would mean he has to keep a bigger list of phone numbers. No other reason has been given, so meh. I like the US, but their opinions on this are irrelevant and they will realize that. Honestly I don't think they really care.Comment
