    New age religious twaddle.

Presumably the solution is to sacrifice a few immigrants at the altar?

        From that link…

This spike is almost certainly due in substantial part to the ongoing El Niño event, which is a fleeting effect that increases carbon dioxide concentrations temporarily," Mann said. "Carbon dioxide concentrations are a lagging indicator, and they don't accurately reflect recent trends in the more important variable — our actual carbon emissions
        From Scientific American

Global energy-related carbon dioxide emissions held steady for the second year in a row while the economy grew, according to the International Energy Agency.
Too early for this to be a 'Paris' effect, probably China, ah yes, here we are
In China, the world’s largest carbon emitter, coal combustion fell for the second year in a row. The nation’s economy began restructuring more toward industries that use less energy, leading to a 1.5 percent drop in greenhouse gas emissions.
China is also embarking on a massive renewable energy deployment binge and, coupled with energy efficiency, aims to replace some of its dirtiest power plants. Some analysts forecast that China will peak its greenhouse gas emissions ahead of its commitments
My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.

but they died out, it must have been caused by Dinosaur Made Global Climate change.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

Germany's CO2 levels rose last year, which doesn't bode well, since they're building so many wind mills.

If Germany's CO2 levels are rising it's unlikely that CO2 levels will be falling anywhere else at all.

It would be ironic if after all the bleating about CO2 and global warming the human race was wiped out by a passing asteroid.

              I'd laugh.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

They were all headed to Paris to reduce Carbon, when a ******* great meteor struck the Earth and killed them all. Still, at least the Carbon level fell after the meteor strike, so maybe mankind will luck out the same way?

Perish the thought of the problem being solved. What would all the freeloading scientists, bureaucrats and "sustainabilty consultants do for a living if the planet gets itself saved?
