    Enterprise car is speed limited

I had a bad weekend – my ford has a problem with the coolant system so booked into good old Henry’s tomorrow.

So, I have an enterprise car – a Ford, with a MyKey, which has been speed restricted.

Driving along the M6 and M6 Toll speed limited to 70mph is insane – itis speedo 70mph which is closer to 60 actual GPS speed. At least the British Gas and BT vans that are speed limited have a sign on the back to warn people. It is meant for teenagers, not for a 42 year old adult!

I'd want it to do warp factor 9 at least.

Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Too many 50 zones on the M6 but clearly if you've paid for your motorway time you should be allowed to do whatever speed you want in someone else's vehicle.

Can you not get it towed by a Ferrari?

I hired a car from enterprise once, but I never found out if it had a speed limiter because I used the M25.

Read it again, they're limiting his speed to less than 65 in a 70 zone.

My previous car speedometer was out by maximum legal amount, 10%. I would have to travel with the needle at 33/44/55/66/77 etc if I wanted to do the speed limit in a 30/40/50/60/70 mph zone. My new car is out by 5% so I travel at 31/42/52/63/73 in order to hit the speed limit. (I use cruise control to stay at precisely the chosen speed.)

Maybe they read your CUK posts and decided it was appropriate?

Actually - probably not. If they read your CUK posts they would only have given you a mobility scooter....

Increase the tyre pressure if you want to go faster.
