    Company details on CV?

    Hi,

I'm currently looking at my CV layout, and I'm looking at the following as a header
    [NAME]
    [COMPANY NAME]
    [ADDRESS]
    [TELEPHONE][EMAIL]

    Then as footer I have:
[COMPANY NAME, COMPANY NUMBER, REG OFFICE]

Is this too much to put on a CV?

    Thanks

Yep. A CV is about you as its you being interviewed. They can deal with the company stuff later.

With regard to you 'being a business' it is still common to put CV's of people forward when you are placing candidates via a consultancy etc so it has nothing to do with trying to educate the agent you are a business etc.. They still want to assess the suitability of the candidate.

Curriculum vitae is a Latin expression which can be loosely translated as [the] course of [my] life.

I don't have that much. That said, I'm mobile within the UK so try not to put any geographical information on barring the town/city where I've carried out work for other clients.

Email address and mobile tend to be all I'd have.

Company details come later, along with two references.

No need for your address on your CV as agents will remove it as well as other contact details.

Also some agents automatically assume if someone lives in Birmingham they won't take a contract in Gloucester. There as when they don't they phone up and ask.

Keep the CV personal, to you. Don't worry about the company name or address, etc. Just your name, email and phone number is all the personal info you need to include.

My CV has the email address, mobile number and nationality.
If they don't want foreigners, they don't waste my time.

You are presuming agents can read more than your name and mobile number.....

Why ask for advice and then not ******* read it when it's given?
