    Generation Y gets its revenge

Flu jab blunder fuelled biggest spike in deaths since 1960s

Last year Public Health England (PHE) warned that the main strain of influenza in circulation had mutated unexpectedly. It was decided to let nature take its course.

    From the article

There were 16,415 excess deaths last winter, with flu likely to be a major explanatory factor compared to 577 the previous year.
Or maybe hundreds of thousands of extra unaccounted for illegal immigrants skewed the figures, wholly or in part.

The number of deaths in England and Wales was so high that it has lowered life expectancy for girls born this year by two months to 79.3, and boys by three months to 82.9, the first fall in two decades.
HUH? I could have sworn average female life expectancy in the UK was higher than that of males.

If the excess was all illegal immigrants, then that would reduce the number in the country. Would that make you happy?

Think they got their ages the wrong way round.

Get in there son. Cold winter as well, and housing will drop.
