    Illegal Schools in England

What on earth is an illegal school?

Ofsted finds 100 suspected illegal schools in England - Guardian

The Guardian seems to skirt around the issue.

I believe they are "faith" schools of a certain religion. In these schools (often found in Birmingham, parts of London etc), there is religious hatred taught, along with anti-homosexual texts and sometimes terrorist links.

But the Guardian and the BBC will not say the religion that is behind them.

We must not speak of it.

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

It's a school not registered with OFSTED, Local Authorities or the Education Department and hence not regulated in any way. The article links out to another Guardian piece with more info.

The first sentence reads "Many more children are hidden from authorities in unregistered schools across England than previously thought, Ofsted’s chief inspector, Sir Michael Wilshaw, has warned.", which gives a clue as to what a school must do to conform with the law.

Any establishment which provides more than twenty hours of teaching each week must register with the authorities. Failure to do so breaches the 2008 Education and Skills Act.

Many illegal schools are either totally unregistered, register as a charity but not a school, or even say that the pupils there are home educated in an attempt to get round the law.

Then your "beliefs" may be erroneous. According to this article there was no real pattern of religious affiliation, and it clearly states the religions involved where there was.

The unregulated schools were uncovered after a series of tipoffs to the Department for Education and raids by Ofsted inspectors. They appear to have used loopholes involving home study clubs as a way of avoiding regulation, and in some cases had an emphasis on Islamic or Jewish religious study, although some had no obvious religious affiliation.

Obviously there is no problem with illegal Muslim schools but just for a second imagine there was. Humour us a little. Do you think these schools should be closed down?

But The Guardian did point out:

"One case involved the discovery of chemicals and chemistry equipment in an unlocked food cupboard in a room where children ate their lunch."

Nearly as dangerous as kids signing up for ISIS.

It's fine - you can. Jewish, Muslim and Christian schools for sure, others where there seems to be no religious affiliation, and probably some other religions.

Of course stupid, bigoted, ignorant, Daily Wail reading, Brexit supporting cretins will automatically assume it's all Muslims.
