Are we now like North Korea where we get a "free vote" and are told what our vote should be?

I really don't think that they have taken into consideration the sheer number of people that will say sod it Im not voting or even worse for them the mind set that says if he thinks its bad then It will be worth the pain... -

We're having a referendum because DC wanted to make sure that anti-Euro Tories didn't vote UKIP instead. The fact is this referendum has happened because of party politics - nothing really to do with democracy, or what's good for the country. All about getting elected.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

All they had to put in their manifesto was "**** the NHS, **** the poor, **** all youse, and line the pockets of the rich even more". But their PR advisors suggested this might not be universally popular, so they stuck the referendum in as something that would distract the gullible from their real agenda for a while.Comment

Interesting though that their "hidden manifesto" was identical to what Labour had done for previous 13 years. Stuff the NHS, poor, and look after number one.
I will give TB this though. He bought peace to the Middle East....Comment
