I feel I was used for info...

I was lured in by a £600 a day rate and quick interview as they need someone to start ASAP. They said they were happy with cv and would want to have a face to face interview as soon as.

Go into interview and it's not like any other I have been to. He jumps straight into clients architecture and asks for design with very specific trouble scenarios. I have been working with the tech for donkey years and walk him through possible options.

Concludes by him saying those are the best answers he has got. It's now been 3 days - have called pimp and he says they are still working on the process but no confirmation. What happened to needing someone ASAP? Feel they got the answers and now can proceed with solution for client.

Did he promise you a brilliant porn career and then proceed to roger you senseless over the desk, whilst holding a camcorder and chuckling?

I hate that when that happens.

Karma will come and bite them on the backside and then you may get another call up for a second interview

It's a horrible industry. It builds expectations that plumbers are readily available.
