    Kudos for following through on threats.

    This is what happens when you can't give your kids a smack any more.

    Still, all's well that ends well.

    And he'll still get more pocket money than his sister. Probably.

      In Japan apparently you are allowed to smack your kids but threats like this are more effective.

      Though I guess they can't threaten him with anything anymore as he knows he can survive on his own.....

        I have done the same when my son used to keep running off, albeit in this case walking around the corner and keeping an eye on them as they start to panic.
