What difference does his occupation make. Had he worked in a Coffee Shop would this have been a 'New Blow for Starbucks" ??

"Previous convictions for communicating a false bomb hoax, affray, possession of cannabis, fraud, criminal damage and driving offences, all before he was 21"

Sounds like just the chap the CofE needs to liven evensong up a bit

Catholic Church are desperate for recruits. But CofE are not as they can get married. Priests used to be able to abuse the children - it frowned upon now.

Most new UK priests are immigrants.....

Bloody Muslims giving the Catholics a bad name. Certain sections of both had a liking for blowing tulip up right enough.

Exactly what the cloth needs; somebody with a bit of spunk.

Not like these rather pusillanimous, pc types that are constantly being drafted in to rural parishes round these parts with their predilections for acoustic guitars, tambourines and a few rounds of cum-bye-ah.

When my wife and I got married years ago, the vicar turned up so sloshed that he arrived late and proceeded to meander down the aisle bumping into the ends of the pews as he did so.

He also invited himself to the reception where he put away another 10 pints of Mendip Magic before showing the assembled his very own wedding ring.

And it wasn't on his finger

He's 36? Must have some city miles on him.

At one point he shouted “I have diplomatic immunity”. When asked from which embassy, replied: “The Vatican, you’re fecked.”

Clergy are suppose to be outstanding pillars of the community and so aren't expected to beat up paramedics and the police. If you work for Starbucks you can do what the feck you like and no one would expect more of you.

I hope the ecclesiastical court aren't too hard on him as he would be useful if he became sober.
