    Nothing wrong with spread betting...

City banker who blew family fortune on spread betting ordered to pay every penny he has left to ex-wife

    1. Arrange a pre-nuptial agreement, or if you previously considered them unromantic, get a post-nup.
    2. Try to tie up as much of your wealth into companies or trusts as possible, but beware this isn’t foolproof and courts take a dim view of people who misrepresent their situation.
    3. Make it a clean break if possible - we often see exes coming back again and again for an increase in maintenance.
    4. Marry someone who’s richer than you.

How am I supposed to do that FFS?

You either marry a woman with potential and help her succeed in her career, or marry one with inherited wealth.

I am related to and know a few men who have done that.

Then if you get divorced the ex-wife has to hand over as a minimum the full house and everything in it.

If you have kids because she is earning so much you make sure the school calls you as the first parental contact.

Oddly most people in that situation don't get divorced....

You'd be surprised at how many old biddies are out there, with their pensions, insurance payouts and inheritance all burning holes in their undergarments... No, you're right, you'll still struggle to pull...
