    Health and Dental Insurance

    Hi,

Currently as a permie, I have private health and dental insurance paid by my employer.

As a contractor, I would like to go for the same through my LTD.

Do I need to go for a business insurance scheme or an individual one?

Also, any one you would suggest?

    Thanks,
    Chris.

If they are not screwed up pay as you need and only look at medical care.

        Hi Sue,

My teeth funnily enough are in pristine condition. However, my girlfriend needed some treatment this year, which was covered by the insurance... that's why I am looking for a dental one as well.

Went on to BUPA's website, and for the business cover it required at least 2 people in the company. Just wondering whether the individual one can be claimed through the company.

Your accountant is likely to have come across this and will also have a view on it.

Try searching the forums before asking as well. Everything you can think will have been asked so will save you a lot of time.

Type something like 'dental site:forums.contractoruk.com' in to Google brings back a raft of posts on this topic.

            Yeah got it.

            1) Don't ask questions
            2) Everything you ask has already been asked
            3) Search the forum cause what you ask has already been answered
            4) Save (yours and others) time

            Always a pleasure NLUK!

And if you do post at least do it in the right part of the forum.

And jot all these ideas down and sit down with your accountant to go through them all.

                  No need to be sarcastic.

You are just asking questions that have been asked loads of times. You are luckily someone is bothered on a weekend to actually reply to you.

I don't find it sarcastic. He just replied in the affirmative. Stop bullying the newbies here.

Looks like she is sponging you dry. May be, I can help her teeth
