    Don't be nasty.

You know Brexiters just wanted all foreigners out and didn't think of the consequences of their vote.

I'm sure we were negotiating from a position of strength yesterday and didn't need an emergency budget.

I respect a chancellor who doesn't change his mind (more than three times in seven days).

You are out of your mind - EU would not even negotiate until Article 50 is invoked, no talks, that's the positions of strength - they want UK out

Didn't Nissan in Sunderland get state aid to entice them there? I think you'll find a lot of foreign companies, particularly in hard hit areas, got state aid...nothing new there
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

You missed my point. It was Gideon who stated we were in a position of strength. He also seemed unsure as to whether or not we need an emergency budget.

You forget, tax rises and cuts were always coming. Current state is not going to clear the deficit. The only difference is that now, either he or the next person can blame Brexit. We're getting it regardless.
