“Da sich Großbritannien aus der EU verabschiedet hat, kann der zentrale Börsenplatz nicht mehr in London sein”, sagte SPD-Fraktionsvize im Deutschen Bundestag Carsten Schneider nach Medienberichten (“Reuters”). “Der künftige Sitz der fusionierten Börse muss der Aufsicht und Regulierung der EU unterliegen.” Durch den EU-Austritt würden sich auch die zentralen Finanzmarktakteure stärker nach Frankfurt orientieren: “London wird an Bedeutung verlieren.”
