It's nice for us all to be able to celebrate a bit of economic good news for a change.

What happens to the economic model when we've sold our homes to the oversea buyers and there's no where for the locals to stay?

We just keep borrowing to buy German goods - that's the Brexit model of the economy.
Gives us leverage with Germans you see.

Good job we deal in pounds then.

Seriously though, i am devastated for those poor Londoners. They have always gone to such great pains to ensure that the wealth generated there always trickles down to communities the length and breadth of the nation.
If only they had voted Remain eh?

Obviously you're insinuating it's not really good news; but if the pound stays low won't the same happen with all kinds of other UK exports?

That is what is CURRENTLY happening. Why do you think sas spends so much time on here after he has completed his paper round?

London generates 25% of British GDP. Without London, the UK becomeslike a larger Portugal.
