    We are all leavers now

Theresa May: Britain faces 'tough times' but can enjoy a 'better, brighter future' outside the EU

[May] urges the party to drop the terms "Brexiteers and Remainers", echoing the suggestion by Lord Hague last week that "we are all leavers now".

    New groups.

    Isolationers
    EU-without-any-sayers, divided into
    Swissers
    Norwegianers

And for each of those groups, a significant subset of Fantasists.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Let's just call ourselves British and see if we can make a decent job if it.

Well, a leaver is a tool.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

While some wrongly assume national pride is a road to racism we're allowed to fly the flag when our sporting stars do well. Try walking around with an England flag at any time England aren't playing a high profile sport and you'll see what I mean. Especially if you've a skin head through being old with male pattern baldness setting in.

Fortunately this summer we've had England flags out while they drubbed the Aussies at rugby, Welsh red dragons everywhere last week for the best achieving home nation in Euro 2016, the Scottish Saltire will be out this weekend for Murray in the Wimbledon final, and the Union Jack everywhere soon for Team GB during the Olympics. Britain is great.

Just hope all this doesn't get confused with those scumbags using the brexit vote to attempt to legitimise their attacks on foreigners who 'should all now go home'. If the remainers want a cause for their #notinmyname social media sulking this is a much better issue to get behind.

She's campaigning for the leadership. Anything that she says is essentially meaningless as it's designed to garner support, not express her intentions.

Wait and see what she says once she's in No. 10

Voted Leave: want to leave the EU.
Voted Remain: want to leave the UK.

              We're all leavers now.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

If you listen to Theresa May who probably will win, this is the key to what will happen:

Theresa May and Andrea Leadsom: How the Conservative leadership candidates compare on policies | UK Politics | News | The Independent

Says controlling EU immigration must be a part of the Brexit deal, but says single market access has “priority”.
which is "political-speak" for when the chips are down controlled immigration goes out the window.

It's pretty clear where we're heading. The Leavers who want to stop "uncontrolled immigration" won't get it, there will be some rather pathetic clause about an emergency brake that will in effect never be exercised as it comes with penalties. The UK will end up as an associate member of the EU like Norway, take on all the rules and regulations so no laws will be dropped. There will be self imposed recession for two years and the banks will lose their passporting rights as they almost did several years ago when the Eurozone was formed. The last attempt to remove the UK's passporting rights was prevented because the UK was a member of the EU and won it's court case.

At the end of all this nothing will have changed, other than the UK will be somewhat poorer, probably without Scotland and no border controls with Scotland who will end up in the EU and Nigel Farage will be frothing at the mouth about uncontrolled immigration, but no-one will have any stomach for any sort of fight.

In short it will end up as a Pyrrhic victory for the leavers.
England and Wales will be governed by the Fax machine, as they wait for the latest regulations from Brussels. Scotland will have the power to stick the knife in England at any time it likes by vetoing any agreements or changes to agreements between England and Wales and the EU.
                I'm alright Jack

Theresa May is silly to have put herself forward for this. As an OP posted it should be a Brexiter who takes the can when it goes tits up
