Well the only way to play it in the UK atm is to root your phone and change the location settings to make it think it's in the US or Asia / Australia.

Just waiting for the first reports of a fatality caused by some muppet wandering into traffic while on their phone trying to catch one.

Complete bollocks.

You just download the apk (and try to make sure you don't get one of the dodgy infected versions) and play.
I was trying it in the UK at the weekend, and I've been wandering about with it here in Spain today. Working fine at both - although I can report that there are no little critters hiding on the runway at either end.

My kids spent thick end of 5 hours on their bikes on Saturday and out walking on Sunday. Anything that gets them off their arses is OK in my book. Usual warnings about not getting giddy and watch the roads etc though.
