    from the article

The numbers of surveyors in London reporting falling prices slipped deeper into negative territory in June, ...
At the risk of sounding like a smartarse, that's good news isn't it, as it means more surveyors are reporting rising prices!

More london-centric news. These hysterical feckers are always either making a fortune or losing one from one month to the next.

Maybe not well written, as is followed with this:-

with nearly half of surveyors in the capital reporting falls rather than rises. Price falls were particularly concentrated in central London.

Looks like it's going to take more than HS2 to fire up the Northern Powerhouse, given your attitude

Osbourne's daydream. And we know what happened to him. Until there's significant investment in transport links (across the north, not just one giant north->south route) it's all just hot air.

Just rung about a house up here. Sold. That's number 4 since the vote.

Another cheaper one we were interested in sold above asking. The buyer pulled out but they have put it back on at the higher price.

So much for all the house price doom tulipe.
