Thinking of leasing on of these...

    https://www.mazda.co.uk/cars/mazda3-sport-black/

Done the test drive and really like it. Can lease for 3 years for £230-240/month.
Any recommendations as a car ?

As someone who has owned a 164 and a 155, I find the Guiletta an insipid blob.
The Mazda is by far the better drive.

I like the way Mazdas drive.
Probably (with Ford) the best of the mainstream brands, given the limitations of front-wheel drive.
Although the lease cost seems a bit steep for a smallish car? Not that I know about leasing.

I had a look at the Guilietta but did not find it any way as nice as the Mazda. And I need a 5 door not 3 which also discounts this.
Leasing costs Mazda also seem lower than the Alfa.

When leasing the best thing to do is not care about the model so much and see what you can get for the money. Granted you won't get anything as cheap as the Passat I'm currently driving but there are a lot of options at around the £250 level...

https://www.nationalvehiclesolutions...al-Lease/43352 is cheaper and is 290bhp....

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...f=23&t=1607379 is a good place to see what the current best deals are...

Changed that link as I've found it cheaper (now its the same broker my passat came from).,,

The excess mileage will be 7.2p a mile (you can usually get that down to 4p or so if you speak nicely to VWFS at the right time, roughly 12 months into the contract)... Also always go for the 5000 mile option and pay the 7.2p surplus its cheaper and avoids paying for mileage you may not use...

Had I not get the deal I got back in March, one of these would be on my drive come September.....

Wow - there are some cracking deals on nationalvehiclesolutions, the Seat Leon being one of them. Is there a catch to these ?

Nope..... You just need to understand how leasing works - it's used by the manufacturers to get cars they want built built so focus on what has an offer on and don't be 100% fussy about what you are getting....

Also note options cost a fortune as you will be paying for them over the cost of the lease....

It's however, probably worth paying the extra £10 a month for Seat Sound and possibly the Safety pack.... £20 for ACC may be worth it depending on your commute to work (its nice to go on a motorway not to need to worry about the speed of the car in front of you)...
