Not a bad plan. Trouble is JSA doesn't pay for much cider. Next time on the bench I'll make sure I've got enough of a warchest to do this.

      Ideal day:-

WD40 will help loosen tight nuts, sweat doesn't work. Particularly if the nuts are on a Morris 1100.

I was working in Paris in the summer of 2002 - +40°C heat. All the business facing members of the project team had nabbed the nice south facing offices overlooking the park. The techies were shoved into the north facing offices. We managed to keep our side relatively cool opening windows early in the morning and late in the evening, but closing them and the shutters during the main part of the day. The non-techies just melted.

            Oh dear. How sad. Nevermind.

No legal maximum temperature in law, it seems.

UK weather: What does the law say on employee rights during a heatwave?

That's odd. In other posts you've stated it pays your mortgage.
