    Quite right too. A leaving country shouldn't be running the organisation it is leaving.

    No, quite wrong! We're still in the EU, and had every right to assume the presidency, and it would have temporarily put us in a better bargaining position!

      Maybe so, but I think now the decision to leave has been made, we shouldn't be trying to guide the EU.

                    With rebates the figure is actually £250 million. Presumably they have simply cancelled the standing order as I have not been receiving my 20% margin recently
