Think there are a few of us working in and around Leeds at the moment, if there is enough interested will stick a pin in a diary, probably be Brewery Tap near the station to kick off.

Wednesday 17th

(Mods ignore the message about the 16th I've just sent you to change the thread title too :laugh )

HSCIC? Spent far to much time in there :)

May be able to make it up on the train depending on the day. If it's a WFH day it shouldn't be a problem.

No, it was a dive - only to be used if I need to do something in town. Colton was far nicer...

It may be doable (I've found a train that isn't via Manchester) but I need a date..

Looks like 16th August seems to be the best for everyone/most.

Bollocks!

United are playing at home so the station will be a write off and all the pubs round it.

Wednesday the 17th?

Phew! In that case I'll be in Brewery Tap 17:30, probably in shorts cos i can, the hard part about these do's is having the balls to introduce yourself to random folks and the possibly of coming across as a rent boy, or in my case, a rent man.

I've met you at the last one with Cojak, so regarding the shorts err yes you can, I'd like to advise the other posters coming tonight to look for a larger Don Estelle (without the pith helmet and glasses).

Red Lion on York Road then :D

I'd say the Station Post or Whinmoor but both are now closed, Cock Beck is still open, or were you more a Fellmonger or Lion & Lamb patron (sidenote L&L was the only place to get a decent pint of Harp, I was sad when it closed down)

Nope - you're safe!

I'm going to put my toys away now, put my chair on my desk and tell Miss I'm leaving.

I need to get some cash, then I'll mosey on down to the Brewery Tap, I'll keep my Regus Pass with fetching red Toshiba Lanyard on a beacon to all.

I'll arrive too early of course, because I tend to get over excited....

It's opposite Evan's Cycles.

Good night - had to leave a bit early, Mrs dilemma (quit work - go uni) plus I'd had 6 pints of Jaipur IPA (5.9%) in like 2 hrs, finally met NLUK, he asked me if I'd asked my accountant....

Still, stopped off at Midgley's chippy and got two sausages and chip shop curry and I'm as happy as a pig in shiiiiite.

Came home to Weds Corrie to watch and a 2-1 win for Bolton Wanderers at Bristol Rovers to go top of the league...

Sweet.....
