    The first thing I ever remember buying is an Amaisin Raisin Bar for 2 & a half pence.

      I wa in pets at home the other day. Guinea pigs have gone up from £1.05 to £10. Its a disgrace.

          Surprised there was no mention of cigs & booze.

          When I started smoking, a packet of 20 Players No 6 cost about 20p

          Also, I definitely remember buying a pint of cider for 13p in the late 1970s
