    Amazon and Starbucks pay less tax than sausage stall, says Austria - BBC News

    "What Ireland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg or Malta are doing here lacks solidarity towards the rest of the European economy,"

    And why should those countries care about Austria?

    I just think its a huge pity the UK voted to remain. We really should have voted exit....

    Amateurs compared to Apple

    Mr Cook disputed the Commission's finding that Apple had effectively paid a corporate tax rate of just 0.005%, or €50 out of every €1m, from one of its Ireland-based subsidiaries in 2014.
    No wonder they have nearly a $trillion stashed in all the World's tax havens. $800 for a crappy phone that costs $50 to make, using slave labour tax free, and Fanbois still love 'em.

          We were NEVER going into the Euro thanks to Gordon Brown's "economic tests".

                Isn't the point being access to the EU market requires you to obey EU competition laws?
