Anyone got any experience, looks like either Malpensa is the easiest to find a flight to, but is a fair distance way from the city center, but then again so is Bergamo.

Whats trasnport links into Milan like?

Fairly easy when I did it, 5 euro on the airport bus, less than an hour and it drops you off at the train station.

I think it's only for 2 days. And letting Mrs simonmac loose on the shops of Milan would destroy his war chest

I think it was Jet2 from Leeds/Bradford so must have been Bergamot.

What are you doing in Madrid? (slightly jealous)

Find a nice apartment in airbnb, buy a ton of spaghetti and some chopped tomatoes from the local supermarket with a nice bottle of Nero d'avola... everybody wins.

La viuda de las vacas in cava alta is a good taverna if you get the chance. In fact PM me with where you're staying and I'll tell you where to eat!
