    Cheap at twice the price

Brussels to demand a massive £18bn 'divorce' settlement following Brexit | Daily Mail Online

The £18BILLION divorce! Brussels is set to demand massive payment to settle liabilities when we leave the EU
Massive bill is set to be presented to settle 'shared liabilities' with EU
Elements owing include pensions and outstanding budget contributions
Some officials in Brussels told the FT the final amount could be higher
well once they have approved accounts & we can get a share of everything the EU owes us then seems cheap.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

RBS cost more, this is pocket change. Fire up the printing press.

Given we pay about £10 billion a year net into the EU and we've been in it for forty years we've probably paid them in the region of £400 billion in real terms since we joined.

In the future without Brexit we'd have been paying even more to support Albania, Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia when they join.

Spend 18 billion to save around 500 billion over the next 40 years? Gimme Brexit.
