    Isa or pension?

'I’m 28 and earn £35k. Should I save in an Isa or pension?'

£35k will get you nothing in London. I suppose you could buy Hull.

£35k will give you a £140k property. Plenty of choice from the Midlands upwards. Hull is, erm, a 'specialist' area, though...

I remember the day when £35k seemed like a lot.

Flippen heck my notions of what's 'not bad' have become skewed.
