    UK trade deficit widens

Besides knowing much about locks Houdini speciality was distraction. So whilst we're in gasp about what's happening across the pond the UK's expenses just went up by £1.2bn in Sept Feck me that's an insane amount of money. To put that into context a Type 45 destroyer costs just under £1bn out of the showroom.

The UK trade deficit widened to £5.2bn in September from £3.8bn in August, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.

Exports decreased by £0.2bn, while imports increased by £1.2bn.

The widening between imports and exports was in part driven by a record £8.7bn deficit with the European Union.

That we would take back control. It seems we've just thrown the keys out the window whilst hooning down the motorway.

Don't be silly. The weak pound is boosting our exports beyond all belief. Boomed!
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Not helped by our increasing net loss as part of the EU.

            Britain for the Brits mate
Brexit has given the opportunity to rebuild Great Britain, but in order to do so industry has to be destroyed in order to be rebuilt.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Perhaps, for balance, you'd like to come up with figures for your mythical independent Scotland as laid out in the SNP's famous White Paper? I suppose it could be any figure as it'll be in Scottish Pound-Euros a currency only on par with tally sticks.
