    Are you able to set up a Limited Company on a T2 ICT Visa?

    No, no, no and no.

    Yell, yes you can actually, there is no residential requirement for starting a UK Ltd, but you under the terms of your visa can't trade through it, and no amount of machinations will change that.

    Under the terms of your visa you are only allowed to work via PAYE directly for the end client and not by agent or intermediary...

    So forget contracting.

        I think theoretically PAYE or visa does not prevent him contracting.
        a) Yes he can create company
        b) Company can take contract
        c) His company can sub contract it non-UK company or simply use "illegal" employees. That is fine + breach of his visa. Plus many agencies check your legal status.

        However other than that - you can do, just if caught (big if), you get fine. But if you are not planning to stay in country for a long time, you probably won't pay it...
