The opposite of diversity is university

Matt Ridley's column in the Times has some interesting comments on the divisiveness of left-wing identity politics - especially in universities.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Northern Rock would certainly have benefited from a more diversified investment portfolio.
My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.

125% mortgages looked bad in 2008. But they will be back. Its the only way the Ponzi economy can be kept going.

I will always remember the Aussie contractor who turned up at client co. He had left Australia to escape being chased for debt. Within eight weeks he had a Northern Rock 125% mortgage and bought a car with the surplus.

Them bloody students. Get them in to Uni and suddenly every one of 'em is an expert in Politics. Might have understood it if they still sat on milk crates in Student Union bars called 'The Nelson Mandela bar' or something of that ilk discussing it all day but it's all Shots and Cocktail bars now from what I hear.

They'll be coming out of Uni with a half baked degree expecting the world to give them a living next!!
