Associate EU membership on offer for every Brit

    ...for a small fee.
Actually make that a large fee. We don't want the riff-raff spoiling our European retirement.
1000 pounds a month per person should be fine

EU negotiators will offer Brits an individual opt-in to remain EU citizens, chief negotiator confirms | The Independent

You mean like spend your pensions here???

Does this also mean the UK can charge people who want to be UK citizens? That should raise the bar!!

There's also the Golden Visa that certain Eu countries use for rich non-Eu settlers.
      Either way I'm in

€300k in property hardly a high bar.

This is getting really exciting, keep the riffraff out and make them get a visitor’s visa to do there shopping in Calais. That’s if they can afford to go at £2 = 1 euro

The mainland EU has AssGuru, Pooper & Barmy Darmy plus 2000 odd Jihadis on their way back from Syria not doing a particularly good job with keeping the riff-raff out..

That is a fascinating proposition where by pro-Brexit voters currently living in places like Spain may end up becoming European citizens.

No you have to opt in and there's probably going to be a fee.
The pensioners in Spain won't be able to afford it, but they can always come back to the UK and use the wonderfull NHS
