              Just want to point out she's not actually a convicted criminal, no more than someone with a parking fine is.

              Still if keeps the Daily Mail readers happy in their fantasy world.

                Better tell the BBC they specifically use the word Convicted in the story or can't you say such things about party members?

                Its one of those posts that always attracts the best candidates

                Lagarde replaced Dominique Strauss-Kahn as IMF managing director in 2011.
                Mr Strauss-Kahn - also a former French finance minister - resigned following his arrest in New York on charges of sexual assault that were later dropped.
                Apparently the next applicants are called Bernie & Sepp.

                  It was a conviction, but not a criminal conviction and the BBC never said it was. But don't let that get in the way of a good story.
