    One is disappointed...

Her Majesty is disappointed about Ms May, her 13th Prime Minister, refusal to inform her of the Brexit plans. Linky

Apparently according to John Major the Prime Minister has a constitutional duty to tell her Majesty of the governments plans.

There's an obvious conclusion to be drawn from that...

As the Prime Minister has no plan, it would be rather difficult to tell the Queen what it is

HM wanted Brexit; Brexit means Brexit, simple. There are no plans; there is no mandate for plans. We just leave and the rest of the world must obey HMs commands.

But she should have said - "When we have agreed a plan we will inform you."

Also, wasn't she saying she could trigger Article 50 using the Royal Prerogative? Bit awkward if she won't even tell the person in whose name she exercises it what she's doing with it…

There is a fatal flaw here... "According to John Major"

A nonentity and the second worst PM after Brown, firmly wedded to the European master plan and the only man ever to leave the circus and run away to be an accountant is not a independent or reliable source of anything

Really? By the end of JM's term, Britain was growing steadily, out of recession and the deficit was in control for the first time in a century. AFAIK that was the last time Britian had any sort of current a/c surplus.

Look at what Labour subsequently did to the current account (use the MAX option for historical data)

Essentially by 1997 Britain's books were as balanced as they ever would be.
                    Hard Brexit now!
