The FTSE 100 highs are largely due to multinationals earnings being in currencies that have gained against sterling. More indicative of the state of the UK economy would be something like the FTSE 350 Domestic Index.
The return for 2016 was -9.5% - but over the past three years rather better.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment
