In the Daily Mail. e.g. When they run headlines about snow (or lack of it) in Europe, they refer to France.
In the SCGB. E.g. Most of their reporting refers to French resorts.
In BASI. E.g. The Simon Butler case frequently confused France with Europe.

So, apart from one of the biggest selling "newspapers", the biggest ski club in the UK and the biggest ski instructor group, after that you'd have to review other groups - Internet forums, media, etc.
