    Working on plan B!

Billing engine complete and passing all unit tests today!

I reckon another 3 months should do it.

Unit tests are for investor confidence!

If the investor is just you then you should be confident in your own code or else no point.

If you mean other investors then it is rather foolish to even hope to get investment money early in the dev cycle - valuations are crap and this almost always leads to failure.

No valuations needed. This is version 2 of something I did for them about 5 years ago, except easier, nicer and more cost effective.

Unit tests are great for nailing those whack-a-mole bugs anyway.

I only use unit tests for very very frequent used functions in common library that I share between many apps: having subtle bugs in it bites hard.

That's what I'm doing. Only the core business engine and some of the workflow stuff is unit tested i.e. the stuff that will cost money or increase risk if it shats.

I'm not working. I'm burnt out and going to chill out for 5 days ignoring the wife, eating pork pies, wankathons and a lorry-load of Surrey Hills finest...
