oh dear, it's gonna get messy....

    from the Grauniad article...

They added: “The supreme court holds that an act of parliament is required to authorise ministers to give notice of the decision of the UK to withdraw from the European Union.”

Must the devolved assemblies be consulted?

Here the judges reached a unanimous decision: UK ministers are not obliged to consult the devolved assemblies, the court ruled.

    Milan.

Labour said they will support the referendum result so it's a rubber stamp surely?

Yes, for another referendum in Scotland. Labour will category seal their fate in Scotland to the chasms of mount doom should they vote against their traditional support base.

The only game that is "over" is the one in which we try and bludgeon some understanding into that dormant organ you keep hidden in that fugly compartment atop your sloping shoulders.

Parliament will vote and rubberstamp the process.

What ye Remainers have to say to that?

Parliament will vote and stop the process.

              Good heaven. Where to start.

              Read the other thread.

A very short bill will suffice. Devolved assemblies don't need to agree.

The House of Lords can now vote it down and out due to half the population being below average intelligence.

                  Here's a thought:

“In theory, Theresa May could take the case to the European Court of Justice, the highest court of the European Union. “

Now that really would be ironic!

What game is over? You really are as daft as a brush sometimes Milan

P.S. Everyone was expecting that judgement anyway. So what's the big deal?
