    wellies

    Afternoon All,

was in Blighty for the weekend, flew sleazy jet in brsl and then over the bridge to the forest.

Was thinking to get some new wellies, went to the local farm supplies in glaaaster on Saturday morning and feck me, how much for a pair of wellies those simple green hunters are from 100 to 170 quid these days

    What happened ?

    Milan.

They became fashionable about 8 years ago and the price went up.

I'd rather go without wellies than wear those.

        26,99 - they should be 4,99

make sure there is plenty of room in them for the sheep's rear legs.

              Serious answer?
If it's for gardening: Muck Boots. Sturdy with toe caps.
If it's for walking: Aigle. Comfortable & flexible

Not tried Aigle but I'd certainly agree with Muck Boots. My not so old Hunters started leaking so I got some of these to replace them. Very comfortable and no sign of leakage. Perfectly ok for a couple of hours out with the dog.

My Mucks wore out after 6 years of dog walking - I worked it out at around 3,000 miles before there was no sole left on them.
My Aigles are a year old, still looking brand new and feel like a pair of slippers.
I have a neighbour who goes through 2 pairs of Hunters each year.
