SC Clearance - In Progress

I was offered a new job in December 2016 and one of the pre requisites was to obtain SC Clearance.

I completed the SC application at the end of December and my sponsor conpleted their side on the 5th Jan 2017.

It has now been nearly 2 months since the application was completed but the status is still in progress!

How long could it take before I get an answer?

Wifey got hers in 9 weeks (that was 5-6 months ago).

An average time would be about 3 months.
