Have you ever tried to get a pork curry in the UK? All the "Indian" restaurants and takeaways are, I'm told, run by Bangladeshis.

Pretty sure one of the main supermarkets stock them. And you can always get beef curry at the Chinese

Pork curry is something you will eat in Goa, as it is mainly Christian.

              +1 for Babur.

People really should give up religion for bacon reasons.

                Yeh, indeed.

                Never made it there, unfortunately.

                  No they are not.

My local takeaway owner is of Pakistani heritage. I had a good talk with him when the Chinese takeaway owners sold up and they opened so I know the chefs are Pakistani. He also owns at least 5 other takeaways and a restaurant in the local area.

The restaurant down the road is Nepalese.

Not all, but most. The curry as we know it is Bengali cuisine but that hasn't stopped Pakistanis cooking it. Most of the Bengalis over here are from the small Sylhet district of Bangladesh; the Bengali guys in our local curry house, although they were also from Sylhet, didn't know why.
