Good to see they take the future of their citizens seriously.

Oh wait no they do not they have already proved that with their childish tantrums.

the UK realising they are in a sinking boat and realising they need to get out quick. Makes sense. The Boat is the EU right?

They do know Tintin is Belgian not English?

Hergé biographer Pierre Assouline noted that "Tintin had a prehistory", being influenced by a variety of sources that Hergé had encountered throughout his life.[2] Hergé noted that during his early schooling in the midst of World War I, when German armies occupied Belgium, he had drawn pictures in the margins of his school workbooks of an unnamed young man battling les Boches (a slang term for the Germans).[3] He later commented that these drawings depicted a brave and adventurous character using his intelligence and ingenuity against opponents, but none of these early drawings survive.[3]

      Maybe they meant this?

Er, hasn't Britain decided to leave the EU which means that they wouldn't be citizens of the EU? I wonder what posters David Davis'es taskforce has up:

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

yep & most of the escapees were American.

Still a great movie though, much better than DrZhivago.

Anna Karenina is probably more appropriate for a Brexit movie...

Funny........maybe but a minor point, Tintin is from Belgium and his boat is alight.

My opinion is should they should try harder and take the P*ss better

Tintin is created by his father Georges Remi, Hergé, the world renowned Belgian cartoonist. This spiritual heir is more than an adopted child! Hergé has stressed the fact that he raised Tintin, protected him, fed him just like a father would (Numa Sadoul, Tintin et moi, Casterman, p. 66) Over the years and in the course of the Adventures, Tintin surrounds himself with friends who became part his family so to speak.

                  And Cpt Haddock is French...

                  The family

Haddock alludes to his mother, during his first meeting with Tintin. As for his family, we know that he is the descendant of the knight François de Hadoque, a navy captain who served under Louis XIV.

The king of France entrusted François de Hadoque with the command of the frigate "The Unicorn" which the latter lost under circumstances which were revealed in The Secret of the Unicorn.
